Looking children, or family, of Hilde Koppan (born 1/11/1924 Caransebes, Romania) and Jurij (George) Korin (born 4/4/1921 Werchrata, Galicia). They are listed as my birth parents and I believe there are/were 2 other children born to Hilde out there somewhere....
I was born 13 September 1952 at Royal Women's Hospital, Paddington NSW and adopted at the age of 10 days, named Helen.
Hilde and Jurij were Displaced Persons who married in Germany in 29 March 1949, arriving in Sydney Australia on SS Skaugum, 29 Sept 1949. |
